Malaysia is a country with rich culture. The population is made of mainly Malay, Chinese and Indians while the Borneo sub origins made out the most of west Malaysian population. Malaysian food, of course is very much reflective of the diversity of the people staying here. Located at the Southeast Asia, Malaysia is in between Thailand and Singapore while West Malaysia is next to the Sulawesi and Philippines.

It doesn’t take an adventurous traveler or food enthusiast to appreciate Malaysian food. There are just so much to choose from, whether traditional or modern cuisines, deem to satisfy the choosiest tastes buds. The staple food in Malaysia is rice, just like the other Asian countries. Due to its sunny weather all year round, fruits and vegetables are in abundance while meat, poultry and seafood is inexpensive and readily available. Malaysian food, just like its people, is divided into Malay, Chinese and Indian and is still prepared by their own unique ways.

Malay food, in general is rich with herbs like lemongrass, tamarind, dried and fresh chilies, ginger and garlic. Malay dishes can be distinguished into a few methods of cooking namely masak merah (tomato sauce), masak lemak (coconut milk), masak asam (sourish tamarind) and masak pedas (spicy). Popular dishes that cannot be missed are such as nasi lemak (coconut milk steamed rice), sambal belacan (shrimp paste with pounded chilies), beef rending (dried curry) and serunding (beef floss). Satay, or barbequs meat on a stick, is originated from Malay cuisine has presence in restaurants all over the world today.

Indian food, on the other hand, has very much integrated northern Indian and southern Indian cuisines when they reach Malaysian shores. Popular for their curries, banana leaf rice and breads such as chapati, naan and roti (prata in some countries). Indian food has also been assimilated with Malay food through their mix marriages of Indian Malay. The resultant is Mamak food, which cannot be found in India, itself. Examples are like teh tarik (tea with milk), murtabak and rojak (mixture of fruits with peanut sauce).

Chinese food, like Indian food, has been assimilated with local cuisines. In China itself, Chinese are divided into so many provinces namely the Cantonese, Hakka, Hokkien, Hainan, Teochew and so forth. In Malaysian, Cantonese food makes the most presence with its stir fry and steaming method. Chinese dishes such as dim sum, sweet and sour dishes, char siew (sweet barbecued pork),bak kut teh (herbal soup) are a few popular dishes. Steamboat or fondue is also widely available and can be a great experience.

There is no denial, Malaysia is a food heaven. Restaurants open very early through wee hours in the morning. There is food for every budget. Sometimes a hearty meal come with a small price, yet does not compromised on varieties. Head down to street stalls in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of the country and you will know what I mean.

I don’t read a lot of history, contemporary or otherwise, and when I do, it is usually in the area of political economy. In recent years, for instance, I have delighted at the scholarship and intellect of Eric Hobsbawm. But what always strikes me about history is how perfect our vision can be from the distance of time. Not so if you are closer, and so I can forgive J. D. Legge my single criticism of his book, Sukarno – A Political Biography, which is its lack of overview. Legge published the book in 1972 and so did not have the luxury of 35 years of clarifying hindsight that we have today.

J. D. Legge’s biography charts the life and career of Sukarno in intricate detail. Particularly strong are the descriptions of the internal machinations and wheeler dealing amongst the Indonesian political elite. Sukarno is presented as one of the major political figures of the twentieth century. If anyone should doubt this, then recall that the terms “Third World” and “Non-Aligned”, terms that structured our thinking about the world for decades and perhaps still do, would probably not have existed if Sukarno had not promoted them. The former arose out of the 1955 Bandung conference, which Sukarno hosted, and the latter out of continued initiatives involving the Indonesian president. Furthermore Sukarno’s significance for the century is also underlined by the fact that the aftermath of the coup that ousted him led to the murder of 250,000 people, while the president himself was allowed to live out his last years and die a natural death. Legge stops short of laying the ultimate responsibility for these deaths at Sukarno’s door, and neither can he be certain about the president’s relation to the coup. True, he lost power as a result, but he did not lose his life. He lost most of his dignity, but remained such an esteemed figure after 50 years in politics that he retained at least a figurehead status up to his death.

A point that Legge underplays, however, is the relationship between the nationalism that formed the basis of Sukarno’s politics and the pragmatism that sought inevitably loose alliances to both define and promote it. One such Sukarno initiative in particular, NASAKOM, may have been responsible ultimately for precipitating the coup and even causing the slaughter.

Sukarno was almost as old as the century, being born in June 1901 in East Java. Legge makes an interesting point about his parents, who met in Singharaja, Bali, while his father was a teacher there. The father was Javanese, a member of the aristocratic priyayi class, but his mother was Balinese and not even a Muslim. I have visited Bali and Singharaja and East Java and can fully appreciate the fundamental differences, both cultural and religious, between these places. And yet, from this mixed parentage there was born a figure who consistently espoused nationalism as a defining ideology. But from the start, and perhaps because of his background, it was a syncretic nationalism that tried to create unity by bridging difference.

Initially, of course, this nationalism was defined via opposition to Dutch colonial rule. It was a nationalism that brought the young Sukarno into conflict with the authorities, led to periods of imprisonment and exile. Nothing strange here. The twentieth century is full of such figures who struggled against externally-imposed colonial rule. In the Second World War, Sukarno, like Laurel in the Philippines, collaborated with the Japanese. But whereas to the north Laurel was eventually disgraced by the association, Sukarno found himself in 1945 the president of an independent Indonesia. And here, perhaps is where the nationalist ideology became, out of necessity, essentially pragmatic.

As an ideology, nationalism claims it expresses a single identity or culture, often defined by language or religion. And this despite the fact that there are almost no nations that actually display the homogeneity that the ideology assumes. It thus has the capacity to become an exclusive force in direct contradiction to its stated aim. Thus nationalism inevitably is an ideology that is easiest to define and promulgate by opposing what it is not, rather than defining precisely what it is. We only have to think of the agendas of the so-called nationalist parties and movements in contemporary Europe, and how they crystallize around opposition. In Britain, we have the United Kingdom Independence Party, UKIP, which is nationalist because it opposes the European Union. And we have the National Front, nationalist because it opposes immigration. The list could be a long one. So nationalism often must be defined in relation to what we are not, rather than via what we are.

If you live in a country subjected to colonial rule, it is surely easy to define nationalism around concepts of independence and self-government. One these things have been achieved, however, the focus that defined the nationalism is removed. If it is to continue as an ideology for an independent nation, it must change, one option is for it to be elevated to state-worship, almost to the status of a national religion. The North Korea of Kim Il Sung was this route in extremis. But in a country as vast as Indonesia, the social conformity this route requires could never have been achieved.

So Sukarno took the other route that can sustain nationalism as a state ideology, which was expansionism, coupled with attempts to create coalitions across political ideology and religion. The expansionist tendency led to the incorporation of West Irian into Indonesia. It also led to Sukarno’s opposition to the establishment of a Malaysian Federation and thus to several years of war in Borneo. It might be argued the same need for expansion to bolster nationalism led, under Suharto, to the invasion of East Timor. The point here is that the external positions are adopted in order to define internal political identity.

As well as promoting an external focus, alliances and coalitions must be erected internally to create at least a semblance of unity. Sukarno’s NASAKOM was such an attempt, an initiative to unite Nasionalisme, Agama and Komunisme, Nationalism, Religion and Communism. And so the Indonesian Communist Party, the PKI, was part of an equation whose result was always going to be a problem, given the ubiquity of the cold War and the proximity of China. When we consider the difficulty of creating unity out of such an admixture, we then appreciate the need for nationalism to retain its external focus. No nationalist agenda can cut across ideological differences that are global. In Sukarno’s case, effectively the Cold War won. The internal tensions had to be resolved and, in Indonesia’s case, it led to military action, the slaughter of 250,000 communist sympathisers and anyone else who got in the way, and the emergence of an initially pro-Western government under Suharto.

But despite this unsatisfactory end for Sukarno’s nationalism, J. D. Legge reminds us of his achievements. Modern Indonesia came into being under Sukarno’s leadership and vision. The politics of the region and of the century were influenced by him. And he was leader of one of the world’s most populous countries for over two decades. Certainly he was a great figure, but, because of his use of syncretic nationalism, he was not a contributor to political thought and so, perhaps, his influence died with him. J. D. Legge’s Sukarno – A Political Biography is a superb, scholarly and measured account of this life and career.

Palawan is the Philippines’ largest province. Its undamaged ecosystem is home to untouched forests, beautiful beaches and unpolluted waters offering a dazzling array of marine life. With over 1,780 islands that stretch from the Mindoro Strait down to the tip of Borneo, Palawan is the ultimate adventure destination.
Central Palawan
Puerto Princesa is the capital of Palawan. It is the most ideal place to stay in when exploring central and southern Palawan. There are several excursions which can be carried out as day trips from Puerto Princesa. A three-hour drive to the Subterranean River in Sabang is de rigueur when visiting Palawan. The river runs through a limestone cave which is said to be the longest navigable river-traversed tunnel in the world. If snorkeling or island hopping is the adventure of choice, a day trip or an overnight stay at Honda Bay won’t disappoint you. Agencies and hotels in Puerto Princesa offer packaged tours around Honda Bay.
South Palawan
The south of Palawan does not have as many attractions as its northern area, but it has caves and waterfalls worth exploring. The Tabon Caves is a vast network of caves where forty-seven thousand year-old human remains have been found in pre-historic burial grounds. The caves can be reached by a thirty-minute boat ride from Quezon.
North Palawan
The best places to visit in North Palawan are the Bacuit Archipelago and Port Barton. Port Barton is a town nestled on a beautiful beach which boasts of stunning sunsets. With its serene and secluded atmosphere, it is a great place for families. The Bacuit Archipelago consists of uneven limestone islands that emerge from the waters of Bacuit Bay. It is the best place to do some exploring on a Bangka, or snorkeling in the vibrant coral gardens, or having a picnic on a deserted stretch of beach.
The Calamian Group
The Calamian Group is like a small version of Palawan, complete with all the main attractions that Palawan has to offer: pure, white-sand beaches, virgin rainforests, relaxing accommodations, and spectacular dive and snorkeling sites. On top of that, the Calamian Group is home to some attractions that the rest of Palawan does not offer: the scenic lakes of Coron Island and wreck diving in Busuanga Island. There are more than ten wrecks around Busuanga, which consist of Japanese warships and merchant ships that were taken down by American planes during World War II. The wrecks are found at varying depths which provide diving opportunities for both beginners and seasoned divers. Coron Island has two main attractions: Lake Barracuda and Lake Kayangan. Lake Barracuda is popular with divers due to its uncommon levels of fresh, salt and briny water. It can be reached by a difficult twenty-five meter climb over a rough wall on the island. Lake Kayangan has three magnificent arms which reach to the rough, jungle-covered areas of Coron Island. It can be accessed by climbing a steep mountain wall.
Palawan is truly a rare gem. Every traveler should at least visit Palawan once during his or her lifetime. With its unique biodiversity, unspoiled forests and beautiful beaches, Palawan is the Philippines’ last frontier.

The country of Malaysia is among the most prominent South Asian nation that attracts millions to tourists to its land every year. Located on the Asian peninsula and Borneo Island, Malaysia is rich in culture and tradition. Being among the most sought after holiday destination, Malaysia strives hard to live up to the expectations of its tourists and visitors. It is not without a reason that Malaysia has been increasingly attracting vacationers from the entire world over. Tourism in Malaysia has been booming on the past years. And hence Malaysia Hotels make sure they offer a lodging experience to its visitors and guests that it makes them bowled over its services and standards. Kuala Lumpur

The city of Kuala Lumpur is not just the capital city of Malaysia, but is also its largest town. Home to the Parliament of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur is the chief hub of financial, administrative and cultural life of the country. Extremely high on arts, architecture sports and recreation the city offers amazing entertainment options to the visitors and tourists. The buildings in the city are a blend of Islamic and Moorish architecture style and are truly awe inspiring. Among the many interesting sights are Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, Kuala Lumpur’s Central Market, Genting Highlands and not to miss the Petronas Twin Towers that prides itself for being the world tallest twin towers in the world. Hotels in Kuala Lumpur are as exquisite as the city itself Cameron Highlands

Best known for its tea industry, Cameron Highlands is located in the centre of Peninsular Malaysia. Cameron highland is the best place to hit if you are looking forward to spend some in peace and serenity. From jungle trails to beautiful waterfalls… the region is staggeringly beautiful. Here, you may even indulge yourself in the game of golf and tennis. Penang

The city of Penang in Malaysia is very mesmerizing and interesting. The pretty Georgetown of Penang houses some of the every finest architectural splendors of colonial era. Forever reverberating with fun and frolic, the ambience and locales of Penang is exceedingly bewitching. Enjoy strolling around the town, shopping in the colossally huge malls, and digging out on the delicious food of Penang. In the city one of the best things to indulge oneself into are fishing, exploring the vivid culture of China and of course walking around the lush jungle of Penang. Malacca

Malacca City in Malaysia is also called The Historical State. Although Malacca is among the smallest state in Malaysia, but it isamong the best known tourist destination. Rich in cultural and tradition, this city is very different from the other ultra modern cities of Malaysia. Walking down the alleys of the Malacca town you will feel as if the past has come back to life. The architecture of the city is highly influenced by Portuguese style architecture. But when it comes to avenues and markets of Malacca you would realizes that there is a bit of Chinese ambience to it.

Accommodation in Malaysia is easy to find. Besides lodging Malaysia Hotel you may even opt for inns, private apartments, hostels and lodges.

We constantly hear the world is losing hundreds, and even thousands of species every day to extinction. It is a sad and sobering thought to realize that we (humans) are responsible for destroying so many species and driving them to extinction.

Yet in the middle of all that, there is also a little bit of good news. Against all odds, scientists are discovering many new animal species. They have discovered not one, but two NEW never before discovered species hidden inside a tropical forest in New Guinea. A tiny little mini pygmy possum called the Cercartetus pygmy and a huge giant cat sized rat called the Mallomys were found by scientists in the Foja Mountains in western New Guinea.

In the Saba Bank, Netherlands Antilles, two new species of soft corals were discovered.

Conservation International announced the discovery of 24 new species in Surinam, including the wild looking Antelopus Frog.

The Jimbaran Shovelnose ray (fish) has been discovered in Indonesia.

A new deep water copepod species was recently discovered.

A four pound rock lobster which is a new species, was also recently discovered along with a giant tube worm new species that lives 8,000 feet deep in the ocean.

A new species of mouse was discovered on Cypress, called the Cypriot mouse.

In an isolated Indonesian jungle scientists discovered dozens of new species of frogs.

The Kiwa Hirsuta is a new species of crustacean that was discovered recently in the hydrothermal vents of the Pacific Antarctic Ridge. It looks like a tiny white furry lobster.

The smoky honeyheater is a new species of bird found in the Papua Provence in Indonesia.

Scientists found six new species in a remote forest of Afica, including a bat, a rodent, two shrews and two frogs.

A new species of leopard with the largest fangs of the cat family was recently discovered deep in the Borneo rain forest.

In the Monterey Submarine Canyon at 2,100 feet scientists have discovered a new species of jellyfish called the granrojo (Spanish for “big red”). It’s a big red blob between 2-3 feet that floats through the dark underworld of the ocean gobbling up its prey!

So though we sadly are losing many unique and distinctive animal species each day on the planet, it’s good news to learn there are still new species left for us to discover (and hopefully not destroy!).

Everyone, who has an aspiration of serving in the armed forces, harbors dreams of becoming a Navy SEAL, but only a small percentage, realize this dream. Moreover, the exploits of the SEALs are largely secretive, and more often than not away from intensive public scrutiny.

Given below is a list of 10 such famous Navy SEALs.

Roy Boehm

Arguably one of most famous of all Navy SEALs, and considered the godfather of all SEALs. He was the first officer in charge of SEAL Team Two.

Roy. H. Boehm served the military for 30 years in various capacities, and rose from the enlisted ranks to develop, and lead what was to become an elite combat force called the US Navy SEALs

He was instrumental in not only designing and developing but also implementing and leading this commando force.

Rudy Boesch

This retired Navy SEAL became popular for his stint in the reality series Survivor: Borneo, and for being its oldest competitor. Moreover, he finished in 3rd place.

He had an enviable record as a SEAL, and was a team leader, who had 45 years of uninterrupted military career.

Scott Helvenston

The youngest Navy SEAL, to complete the rigorous BUD/S, he worked for Blackwater Security post retirement. He was sent to Iraq, but was killed in the infamous Fallujah ambush, within a few days of his arrival in the country.

At a young age of 16, he was given special permission to join the Navy, and had an unblemished 12 year career before he left.

Eric T. Olson

He is the current head of the United States Special Operations Command or USSOCOM and is the only Navy SEAL to have achieved such a distinction; moreover he is also the first Naval Officer who has been given the charge of USSOCOM.

A graduate of the United States Naval Academy and the Naval Postgraduate School, Admiral Eric Thor Olson, completed his SEAL training in 1974. He was the commander of SEAL Team Six, which was a special counter terrorism unit.

Jesse Ventura

Jesse Ventura is a retired Navy SEAL, turned retired professional wrestler turned American politician who was the 38th Governor of the US State of Minnesota.

He has also donned the role of an actor, radio host, and a television talk show host.

Christopher Cassidy

He holds an important place amongst Navy SEALs as he also became a NASA astronaut. He was an integral part of the SEALs for ten years, and in that capacity made two important tours of duty to Afghanistan and the Mediterranean. Michael P. Murphy

He was posthumously awarded America’s highest military decoration, the ‘Medal of Honor’, for his courageous actions in the war in Afghanistan. Since, the Vietnam War, no other person from the Navy has been awarded this rare honor.Thomas R. Norris

He holds pride of place amongst Navy SEALs for his rescue missions in the Vietnam War. For this he was awarded the Medal of Honor.

Richard Machowicz

He is famous for his role as a host on Future Weapons, a show that is aired on Discovery Channel. A former U. S Navy SEAL, who has proficiency in many martial arts, he has also authored a book.

Richard Marcinko

He was in charge of SEAL Team 6 and is now a popular author. It will come as no surprise that after the rigorous military training, and unimaginable feats of bravery, Navy SEALs go on to achieve things, which very few can achieve.

This is just a small list of these over-achieving individuals who have stood out and become famous for their accomplishments.

As we continue our look at ‘naked vinyl’ album cover art, let’s explore two other companies who capitalized on the fad and what has transpired since.
In the last article, we discussed two West Coast record labels that were prolific and utilized ‘naked vinyl’ to sell their record albums. Not to be outdone by their counterparts, many East Coast record labels followed suit. None were more successful than the Davis and Que record labels and both of them focused on saucy songs and risqué nude cover art. Davis, in particular, had a cavalcade of stars that would churn out ‘double entendre’ songs that had been popularized on the Vaudeville stages. In fact, the owner of the label, Joe Davis, also wrote some of the songs and brought talented entertainers to the genre as well as a classic line of album cover art. The Que record label produced more of the same material, but the records were dubbed as “sexucational,’ with songs and stories to inform the uninitiated.
In 1967, it seems that the attitudes about ‘naked vinyl’ had changed over the years, being replaced by peace, love-ins and flower children. When Jimi Hendrix released his album “Electric Ladyland,” that featured Jimi surrounded by naked and buxom beauties, it created quite a stir. The cover was replaced, but the genre did not go away altogether, rather it was replaced by pop-art covers, psychedelia and slender, beautiful European women who would grace various covers from a multitude of musical genres.
Maybe the fad had run its course; the gimmick wasn’t nearly as popular by the end of the 60’s. But, now instead of getting coarse comedy, stag party specials and often quality music to accompany the ‘naked vinyl’, instead it became an avenue and a tool to release terrible music, by not so talented musicians; all packaged in a sexy cover and priced to sell.
Foreign music from Italy, France and Germany and other countries flooded the market with substandard music, but they all had one thing in common-’naked vinyl ‘covers. Cover versions and greatest hits compilations were hastily recorded and rushed to press, all including that special feature that the record companies knew the public would enjoy, never mind the music. In the 1970’s, the ‘easy listening’ music boon was in full swing, full of Hammond organ medleys, smoochy-sax covers of pop hits and ear-bending violins destroying popular classics. Artists such as Gil Ventura, Klaus Wunderlich and the ‘Latin Lounge Lizard’ covers of Robert Delgado were all cashing in on the fading fad.
In addition the 70’s saw an exotic extravaganza of foreign music that the public would probably have never have gotten to hear, sans the ‘naked vinyl’ album covers. Mysterious countries all of a sudden were thrust into the music spotlight, from Borneo to the shores of South America and Africa. No country or culture was excluded. From the erotica landslides of misguided music of traditional song, all merged with native naked women in exotic poses that were happily hawking the substandard music.
In the late 70’s, another phase of ‘naked vinyl’ came in the “disco era.” The Ohio Players released a wonderful erotic series of ‘almost’ nude cover art. Sexual innuendo on the form of an album cover was not lost with the disco ‘divas’ “Silver Convention,” whose cover for their album called “Save Me” created waves. Their frontal nudity of “Discotheque Volume Two,” not only features their big hit of the era “Get Up and Boogie,” but a startling cover of a handcuffed female. Blended in with a list of steamy, seductive songs, the cover grabbed audiences’ attention as well as their eyes.
But as the disco era closed and the 70’s drew to a close, society seemed to tire of the market and album cover nudity was no longer a mainstream wonder. Album cover artists and record companies all left sex to the imagination and returned to the safe images and cover art that was G-rated. With the advent of the compact disc, album cover art was led into the annuls of music history and pretty much became a non-issue. But, there have been some historic naked album covers since then. Let’s explore a few.
Leave it to John Lennon to create a stir, he was a master at creating controversy and knew how to draw media attention to whatever he was doing. In 1968, Lennon and Yoko Ono released their album called “Two Virgins,” with the front cover displaying a full-frontal nude image of them. The back cover showed the same image, but from behind. They were forced to replace it (they sold it in a brown paper wrapper) and copies of the album were impounded as obscenity in some jurisdictions.
The rock band Blind Faith had a cover that pictured a topless pubescent girl in 1969, and the U.S. record company had it reissued with an alternative cover showing a photograph of the band. The Scorpions actually had two “naughty” covers that caused a stir, 1976’s “Virgin Killer,” also featured a topless young girl and was replaced with a photo of the band. In 1979, the band released “Lovedrive,” with a man and a woman in the back seat of a car. The woman’s chest is exposed and the man was pulling bubble gum off of her breast and the album was repackaged.
But the band Jane’s Addiction got it right when, anticipating trouble, released the 1990 album called “Ritual de lo Habitual” with two covers. One cover, which featured singer Perry Farrell’s artwork (male and female nudity), was released along with a ‘clean’ version of the cover with the text of the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, that promotes free speech.
All we can ask is where was the censorship in the heyday of ‘naked vinyl’ album cover art? Now pop artists, rappers and rock and rollers can sing and say anything they want on a record. You can turn on the radio and hear the “Frankie Goes To Hollywood” sexual number “Relax,”, but god forbid you show any nudity on an album cover.
But all is not lost for the lovers of ‘naked vinyl’ cover art, as the 90’s and beyond have seen album cover art and specifically ‘naked vinyl’ return as record companies and designers are not afraid to use the human body to sell music. Vinyl is back, with the public demanding the format as well as the album cover art that accompanies it, no matter what the format, because as we have all learned; sex sells.

The venue, the caterer, the guest list, the dress; the wedding is planned and ready to roll, now all that is left is anticipation and honeymoon planning. As the farthest reaches of the world become ever more accessible, the choices of where to go on the honeymoon proves even more difficult.

Herein lies the first obstacle; there is more than one person making the choice. As couples go, it is a pretty rare occurrence that each party will have exactly the same idea of what constitutes the perfect honeymoon holiday, especially taking into account the wide range of choices available. Couples can choose a secluded romantic getaway spot on a beach, an adventure holiday, an exotic sightseeing destination, or even a round the world trip.

Whatever the choice comes to, couples must keep in mind how much they want to, or are able to spend on their trip. Many weddings pack quite an expensive punch and these considerations should be taken into account before planning any getaway. Even within a budget, couples can still look towards planning their honeymoon abroad, especially if planned well ahead of time.

An adventure honeymoon could be the perfect choice for those who like to venture off the beaten path. A trip to beautiful Borneo – the world’s third largest Island – with its stunning arrays of plant, animal and bird-life, could prove to be an ideal choice. Alternatively, choose a safari across the Okavango Delta and experience wildlife in natural surroundings. Those more interested in life under the sea can choose numerous diving destinations such as the islands of the Caribbean, Mexico, Maldives and the Great Barrier Reef.

Those who might need a break after wedding madness might prefer a luxury honeymoon on a desert island beach in St Lucia, in a world class city like New York, or at a 7 star hotel in Dubai.

Travel connoisseurs can even opt for a round the world ticket stopping at as many destinations as they wish. For a feat like this to be enjoyed, couples would be advised to take a few months rather than a few weeks off from work, as it takes time to appreciate what the world has to offer.

Wherever the destination, it’s best to arrive at a suitable time of year; it would be a shame to arrive in Thailand in the middle of their typhoon season or to a skiing holiday in Canada when there is no snow. It’s best to either do the research or hire an expert on these matters who will also be able to assist with visas, flights, plus other necessities and tips for the destination.
